* The team — Heather Alexander BAH, MA, JD, is an experienced family lawyer with extensive training in alternative dispute resolution. She was called to the Bar of the Province of Ontario in 2013 after graduating with distinction from Western Law.

She specializes in helping clients avoid future issues by establishing cohabitation agreements and marriage contracts (prenups) before problems arise, and by negotiating separation agreements out of court after relationships break down.

However, she is also an experienced trial lawyer who has appeared at all levels of Ontario Courts. She will stand up for your rights in court if necessary.

While we always recommend full legal representation, we acknowledge that the cost may be prohibitive. If you wish to represent yourself with some help, Heather also offers limited retainers and unbundled services.

Heather also represents both sides in the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal.
